Rob McLure has been breeding tropical fish for more than 40 years. He has tried a little of everything, especially in his college years from Cichlids to Reef tanks. Rob has bred over 150 different species of freshwater tropical fish with more than 75 of those being Corydoradinae.
Rob has recently completed the Milwaukee Aquarium Society Breeders Awards Program (BAP) and has also recently joined the Greater Chicago Cichlid Association becoming the first “Scavenger” Chairperson leading the clubs brand new Catfish Breeding program.
He currently maintains a small basement fishroom of about 50 tanks and will likely keep trying to breed new species until someone makes him stop!.

Rob’s presentation is an overview of how he have had success (and sometimes failed) at breeding Cory. Everyone, from the most basic beginner to the skilled catfish breeder should be able to get something from it.
